Sixti

Privacy Policy

Effective August 18, 2026 · Operator: Gavin Hart · App: Sixti (com.sixti.app)

Sixti is a 60-second daily brain game. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how to reach us.

What we collect

When you create an account we store:

  • Email address
  • Password (stored hashed by our auth provider; we cannot read it)
  • Display name, username, and friend code
  • Your official score for each UTC day you play, including the answers you submitted that minute, and whether that run was on time or late
  • Friend requests and accepted friendships
  • A push token on your device, so we can tell you when a friend finishes today’s minute

On your device we may also keep:

  • A signed-in session
  • Cached word lists for today’s game
  • Whether you turned on the local daily reminder, and the next reminder time

We do not collect precise location, contacts, photos, payment cards, or advertising IDs.

Optional tips are processed by Apple or Google. We never see your card number. A tip does not unlock extra minutes or change the game.

Why we collect it

  • To create and sign you into an account
  • To keep one official run per person per UTC day
  • To show global and friends leaderboards
  • To keep your streak and history
  • To send a Sixti confirmation email when you sign up
  • To fire a daily moment on your phone if you opt in (a random ping; 15 minutes to be on time)
  • To notify you when a friend finishes today’s minute, if you allowed notifications

Who processes data for us

  • Supabase — accounts, profiles, scores, and friendships
  • Public game APIs used only to build that day’s shared list, for example country, word, food, dictionary, and trivia sources. Those requests do not include your Sixti account.
  • Apple and Google — optional tips, if you choose to leave one. They process the payment. We receive confirmation that a tip was paid, not your payment details.

We do not sell your information. We do not run third-party ads in the app.

Email

Signup confirmation and password-reset mail are sent so we can tell it is you. Those messages come from Sixti (or our auth provider sending on Sixti’s behalf). We do not use your email for marketing.

Notifications

The optional daily ping is a local notification on your device. Friend-finish alerts use a push token if you allow notifications. You can turn either off in the You tab or in system settings.

Friends

Friend codes and usernames are how people find each other. Anyone who has your code can send a request. Only accepted friends see you on the friends board.

Keeping data

We keep your account and scores while the account exists. You can sign out in the app. To delete your account and associated scores, email or open an issue using the contact below and we will remove them.

Children

Sixti is not directed at children under 13. Do not create an account if you are under 13.

Changes

If this policy changes in a material way, we will update this page and the effective date.
